By now I think most people have heard about Instagram. It became so good that Facebook ended up spending billions snapping it up, and if you listen to some people it’s now the platform of choice for many social media users. I have hopped on the Instagram train because I find that Facebook & Twitter seem to be overloaded with various content, Instagram is simple and more visual.

Show Off You Inner Artist
There are lots of simple apps on Instagram which anyone can use to discover their artistic side. We all see beauty in a variety of different things; buildings, nature, people and food – now we can share what we perceive as beauty. Using the editing options with brightness, filters etc you can make your picture look much more awesome than it already does!
See A Different Side Of Your Friends
One of the thing that I found most surprising after I signed up to Instagram is that I have got to see a different side to people I know. As I mentioned above, it gives you the opportunity to be artsy but you still decide what type of content you want to share. When you see what your friends are sharing you start to learn more about what they enjoy or what they deem as cool.
Create A Scrapbook About Yourself
With social media I enjoy the fact that I can upload and save a record of many aspects of my life. Not only the big memories such as holidays or weddings, but also those in-between moments when you’ve been out for lunch with kids or just snapped something you found interesting.
